Best places to go for live music bands or other areas of entertainment in london?

• hi all im off down london for the new year although i go down london at least 3 or 4 times a year i always seem to go to the same places,my partner and i love live bands and music, i was thinking of having a night out around camden can any one recommended anywhere around there best places to go and what to expect. any other ideas and places would be much appreciated i looked at ronnie Scott's but after reading some reviews feel its probably over rated, some true cockney input would be great thank u

The upstairs live room becomes CBGBs in its heyday, complete with graffiti stained walls and ripped up posters. The finest Rock n Roll bands are set to take to the stage, with Mouthwash followed by Man Like Me playing a Full live and brass band set.
