Any modern/clean hostels in London?
-
I need to stay a night or two in london, last minute trip. I've looked online and the Hostels there are awful and hotels over priced. I'm looking for a nice hostels where I do feel like im in a prison cell sleeping on bunks. I've looked at private rentals and are over £30 per night. Are there any modern, clean no bunk bed affordable hostels or hotels under £30? Please just reply if you know a good place as I'm running out of time, its for this weekend. Im a student and looked into halls but I don't know of any that you can book for one/two nights? thank you for your help:)

Answer:
I recently stayed at the Premier Inn on Hanger Lane and it was only 29 per night. It's also right outside of the Hanger Lane tube station on the Central Line and about a block away from another. Definitely a good place to stay. Close to the center of London as well.

Then you will want to find a hotel. A hostel IS low cost because of the basic rooms and is even cheaper when you share, THAT is why it's a hostel and not a Hotel. You will find it very hard to find what your looking for in London, as you either go for Hostel which is cheap, or a Budget Hotel which will be more expensive but not as expensive that a high end Hotel. Premier INN is a good idea by the way! COULD be the best bet, as they are a budget HOTEL. May have terms and conditions though for their cheap deals. NO point going for the YMCA as it's a hostel! WITH bunk beds, and possible sharing!!

- ASTOR HOTEL in london -Stay where it's happening! Funky, friendly atmosphere together with great customer service makes the Victoria a firm favourite with backpackers visiting London. Most of the famous tourist attractions are a short walk from the hostel (River Thames, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Tate etc.) A modern clean hostel with comfortable beds and security lockers underneath. 71 Belgrave Road Victoria London
