Where is the best place to watch fireworks in Denton?

I'm goin to watch the fireworks in london this year, where's the best place to be?

  • i live in england but have not been to london to watch the fireworks display. i've booked a hotel nearly to stay the night. i don't know whether i need to be right there where it's happening or need not be with the thousands of people where i can witness the fireworks and take nice photos. please advise. many thanks.

    If you can get a good spot early on, I reckon being across the river from the London Eye would be the best. They normally do the display from the Eye and so if you're in front of it you'll end up with the better view than being behind it on Southbank. I don't really know though, as I haven't risked it myself yet.

Be on the Embankment at about 3pm and wait for 9 hours in the freezing cold. Otherwise you will be right at the back and see nothing.

London Eye or Big Ben!! I'm not sure whee this year!! :) :) You chose the BEST place ever to be when the fireworks start!! LONDON!!! "City of lights!!"

I went there to watch them last year, but we didn't get there early enough to get a good spot. If you want a good viewing spot, you may have to get there 6 hours before midnight. The best spot I think would be on the north side onlooking the london eye. I got there 4 hours before and wound up on the Waterloo Bridge. :( The mobs were insane, be prepared to get squished and potentially pushed. :) However, I am glad I went.. It's something magical I'll never forget! If you'll be taking the tube after the fireworks, be prepared to wait in line for another 1-2 hours, but if your close by you're better off walking a few miles! The cold wether was also insane!

A safe distance away from the fireworks, for example not inches away from them as its not safe!
