Traveling to london uk for the first time.?

okay i am not going to throwing a sweet16 party, instead i am going to London for the first time with my mom, in december. i have no clue how to plan for this.... i don't know which air line would take me to london from florida, i don't know wheres a nice hotel to stay at for about 14 days. any tips would be good too..... please help me i never been out of the united states and this is my only chance, so if anyone could please help me, it would be so grateful :) thanks oh and if you know any great places to Visit in london let me know too. i also love shopping so tell me great places to shop for rocker skater type clothing too thanks again :)
