Can I rent a flat in London with bad credit score?
-
I have a very bad credit score. Can I still rent a flat in London?
-
Answer:
Yes. Private landlords do not have access to your credit rating. You will be expected to pay a deposit, usually one months rent, and usually the minimum rental is for 6 months. It won't be cheap either. Within 15 minutes travelling time to Central London a reasonable 2 bedroom flat can exceed £1000 per month.

You will have to rent a flat or house through a private landlord (as opposed to through a real estate agent) but you will no trouble at all - I have rented many places this way, and you will not lose out on the quality or price of accommodation.
