Whats it like to live in Greenwich?

  • Whats Greenwich like to live?? Would be moving with 6 kids. Whats the schools like?? Senior and primary??? any other info??

    Go to Bexley, Cheaper, Cleaner, better schools. Greenwich is nice, but surrounded by horrible council estates like Deptford, Woolwich etc.

Greenwich is ok--but it's true that there are some not so nice areas close by. Deptford & Lewisham are right there--Woolwich is also not so great, but not that close--it's about 15 away. Charlton is ok to live, but I don't know about the schools. My impression of Greenwich was that it was nice--but I didn't live there. I did live in Charlton(ok) and work in Woolwich. Woolwich and Plumstead have a lot of immigrants, which means high unemployment--then higher crime.

I love the park - one of my favourite places. No idea about schools though I'm afraid. And no, the Greenwich Meridian is not the same as the International Dateline so you won't be 24 hours ahead of yourself!
