How to get a visa to the country of Ecuador?

I am flying through the UK from the USA to my home country, Kazakhstan. How to get a transit visa?

  • I am flying from the US to the country of my residence, Kazakhstan, through London. I want to stop in the UK for a couple of days (48 hours and less). I know it's a "visitor in transit" visa. I want to meet up with my friend who is in London BUT this website (http://www.britainusa.com/visas/articles_show_nt1.asp?a=41200#VIT) says that if I plan to meet my friend or relative in London, I have to apply for a visit visa. Moreover, the application form requires to give info about the address of my stay in the UK which I can't give except for my friend's address. Thus, I have 2 questions: 1) Concerning the flight from the US, are there any visa exemptions based on the presence of my entry visa to the US and a valid flight ticket from there? 2) What should I put in the application form if my friend's address doesn't work for a "visitor in transit" visa since it conflicts with their visa regulations (if visiting a friend - then applying for a VISIT visa)? Can you recommend me what to do?

  • Answer:

Only the British Embassy or consulate in your city in the USA can give you the complete answer to your question. Why don't you approach them?
