Where to get the best exchange rate on US Dollars to Swiss Francs?

Where can I get the best exchange rate from pounds into dollars in London?

My JPMorgan Chase (Visa) charges 3% per transaction; with no additional fees. 3% seems quite high, so I wonder if anyone knows of a bank, travel exchange bearuee, etc that I can get a better deal. I'm looking to exchange around $300-400 dollars into pounds. I'm very familiar with London, so if you know a 'hole in the wall' that will do me a good deal, I'm sure I can find it. Many thanks in advance.

Check with your bank at home before you leave. It may be that if you use your card to obtain cash after you arrive in London you get a better exchange and may be charged no commission. I did it the other way round in Honolulu, (on vacation) and it worked very well. Ian M
