How much is the fare from the Philippines to the UK?

UK RESIDENTS-London buses, Unpaid Fare Notice?

  • I'm 14 years old. Today I got on a bus and told the driver that my oyster was expired and the new one is being posted(which is true), and that I didn't have any money. He then gave me a yellow unpaid fare notice saying that i have to pay the £2.20 fare within 5 days, and i can pay by postage, telephone or at any tube station ticket office. While I do intend to pay, what will happen if I forget? the man didn't know my name, number, where i live or anything at all so if i didn't pay within the 5 days what could happen if they dont have any of my information? and how would they even know it was ME paying the fare? im just really confused. will anything happen if i forget to pay?

  • Answer:

Sounds to me he's just been nice to you by letting you off the fare. He has to cover his back by presenting the Unpaid Fare Notice, so that if an inspector got on his bus they would see you had been dealt with according to procedure. If they have no details of you, then they don't know its you that has to pay the fare, and in fact there will probably be no record of it even being issued. Its called Good Will.

Dont pay. But also dont answer the door to anyone wearing a uniform. They will be from big brother collections inc.

I got given one of them when i lost my oyster card! Lol but he took my details but i didn't end up paying because i forgot and i didn't get any reminders or people visiting my house. I think you should forget about especially if they haven't got your details.
