What can a teenager do in London? Where to meet people?

As a Teenage Girl Living in London how can I socialise and meet interesting people?

  • Hi,well now I have finished school and I'm really bored staying at home, I'm at home Mon-Fri 24 hours a day doing nothing, Is there any way I could go out and socialise with people and meet new people Im 16 years of age and have just finished my exams, so are there any places in London where I can just go out and have a great time without being bored.I mean anywhere in London I don't mind, it could be volunteering or something

    When my GCSE exams finished, I just went out with my friends most of time. Thats how we socialised. But if you want to meet new people, and you don't mind doing some volunteer work, then check out the Gumtree link below. It's a large directory of charities, businesses and people who are looking for help. Okay you won't get paid, but it's great experience for the future, looks good on your CV and you get to meet new people. I would suggest finding something that you would be interested in; if you have any future career ideas, see if theres anything you could volunteer for that might aid you in future career development.

Well staying inside isn't going to help. Look online and see if there's any clubs that you could join that are local to you. Maybe meet up with some old school mates? You never know you may start hanging with people that you've never spoken to before at school. Phone some old friends up and see if they want to meet up. In my opinion London isn't really an area that caters for young teenagers but there's always something that you could do, even just by going to the cinema a few nights a week. Good luck with your exam results and with whatever you choose to do :)
