What do you think about Kingston University in London?

What is the reputation of Kingston University in London?

  • I'm a US college graduate and I'm looking for grad schools in the UK. University of London is number 1 but I'm looking for backup schools. I just want to know if this school is prestigious or not esp. in the eyes of Londoners. I went to a really good college for undergrad.

    Here is the University League Table. http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/table/2010/jun/04/university-league-table Kingston is rated pretty low. It's quite far from central London as well. Certainly not prestigious. Prestigious is UCL, King's, LSE, Imperial. Good luck!

no it is not considered very good. im not sure if you know what you mean when you say 'the university of london' there is no such university. the university of london is comprised of seperate colleges which are universities in their own right. It has some of the best universities, and also some of the not so good ones. good universities that are part of the university of london are . University College London (UCL), London School of Economics (LSE), Kings college London (KCL), School of oriental and african studies (SOAS) Imperial college london used to be part of the university of london, but it is not anymore. Anyway, it is still one of the best universities. The universities i have mentioned are some of the very best in the Uk, and the world. there are plenty of other constituent universities, that are also good that i have not mentioned. However, kingston is not one of them. In fact I'm pretty sure that kingston university is not even a constituent member of the university of london
