Well, this questions holds various reasons that why software testing is really a good career opportunity. According to my experiences -

  • I have seen many Project Managers who are promoted from this awesome background. Initially companies hire them as software test engineers where they had to test the whole project / product thoroughly. And with the passage of time and after attaining the hands-on experience on various projects, they can develop the testing mindset. This mindset not only helps them to detect the bug/error during the development phase but at the initial stage of prototyping as well. And every company needs this kind of mindset in their Project Managers.
  • One of my friend was working as “Software Test Associate” with the the renowned IT company at Bengaluru in 2018. The company mostly deals with the sugar industry softwares and CRMs. He worked there from 2015–2018 and then shifted in the same segment / product based company in Chennai. That Chennai based company also builds and develops the Sugar Industry softwares and again he worked over there for around 2.5 years. Now, you can’t imagine he is working in Dubai based sugar factory named “Canal Sugar”. He is working as technical operations head and his current salary is around INR 7.3 LPM (Lacs Per Month). I have asked him why this company had hired you at this much salary? then he said - this company was looking for person who had great experience with the sugar industry softwares. Now, you can easily predict the growth in this testing industry.
  • In the product based companies, I have seen many people who came from testing background and holds the “Client Success Manager” designation and my dear friend, this is a designation that controls overall client support team. After gaining the 3–4 years of an experience, if somebody is becoming the CSM then I’ll strongly recommend this testing domain to everyone.

Hope this answer will help you to make the good decision for testing domain. You can ping me anytime for testing career, I’ll happy to answer your queries. If you like my answer then please do upvote my answer so that I can get motivation to write more.

Thanks!

Overpaying on car insurance

You’ve heard it a million times before, but the average American family still overspends by $417/year on car insurance.

If you’ve been with the same insurer for years, chances are you are one of them.

Pull up Coverage.com, a free site that will compare prices for you, answer the questions on the page, and it will show you how much you could be saving.

That’s it. You’ll likely be saving a bunch of money. Here’s a link to give it a try.

Consistently being in debt

Here’s how to see if you qualify:

Head over to this Debt Relief comparison website here, then simply answer the questions to see if you qualify.

It’s as simple as that. You’ll likely end up paying less than you owed before and you could be debt free in as little as 2 years.

Missing out on free money to invest

It’s no secret that millionaires love investing, but for the rest of us, it can seem out of reach.

Times have changed. There are a number of investing platforms that will give you a bonus to open an account and get started. All you have to do is open the account and invest at least $25, and you could get up to $1000 in bonus.

Pretty sweet deal right? Here is a link to some of the best options.

Having bad credit

A low credit score can come back to bite you in so many ways in the future.

From that next rental application to getting approved for any type of loan or credit card, if you have a bad history with credit, the good news is you can fix it.

Yes, software testing might not need excellent programming skills, but if you know how code is written, what are the different libraries, technologies, infrastructure used to build a particular system, you could be better in identifying a better Test Strategy and plan your tests accordingly. Moreover if you move towards Automation testing ,then you need to know coding. How will you build a Framework to automate your test scripts?

Remember, Software Testing is not easy. It takes a lot of thinking and brainstorming to get into the users shoes and identify ways they will use the system. If you consider Software Testing as just a means to find bugs, then it might seem easy, as easy it is in your real life. Finding Faults in others.

Software Testing is not finding Bugs. Absolutely No! Thats just one aspect of it and a reactive or detective way. Software Testing is trying to prevent bugs, evaluating User experience/Convenience, making sure the system does what the customer actually expects it to do, ensuring Faster delivery to market and within budget. Do you think its that easy?

The early you detect a bug, the less costly it is to fix. Trust me, this early detection is very complex and tedious. You have to visualize scenarios/ requirements/user Behavior even before you see any page or app in front of you.

I will give you a challenge, Can you try down scenarios to test a Login form? Its really simple and lets see how many scenarios you can come up with. You are free to add your suggestions to this form. I have just given you a one line summary. Now identify what things need to be there on the form and how will you test it.

Even the bugs you log, should have a detailed analysis of what is causing it, what are the different ways it occurs etc. Here, if you have some programming background, it helps a lot.

There were also mentions of Salary for testers. That should be the last thing on your mind. I know its important but I dont buy the idea of Testers getting paid less than developers. I am tester for 14+ years now and I run my own software testing company. The more you learn and perform the more you grow. Salary wont be a constraint for sure.

There are so many other reasons that make software testing a great career choice. I can keep talking on Software Testing endlessly. Maybe some other day

So, choose software testing only if you are passionate about it and not because someone gave you reasons to join or not join. Everyone has their own perspective and career choices. You have to make your own career. Do something only if you love to do it. Rest will follow.

I’ve researched several institutes in Bangalore that offer software testing training. There are many, actually, so I can’t name them all. To find one that suits my needs, I’d need to look at specific course details, reviews, and pricing.

Here’s the thing: I wish I had known these money secrets sooner. They’ve helped so many people save hundreds, secure their family’s future, and grow their bank accounts—myself included.

And honestly? Putting them to use was way easier than I expected. I bet you can knock out at least three or four of these right now—yes, even from your phone.

Don’t wait like I did. Go ahead and start using these money secrets today!

1. Cancel Your Car Insurance

You might not even realize it, but your car insurance company is probably overcharging you. In fact, they’re kind of counting on you not noticing. Luckily, this problem is easy to fix.

Don’t waste your time browsing insurance sites for a better deal. A company called Insurify shows you all your options at once — people who do this save up to $996 per year.

If you tell them a bit about yourself and your vehicle, they’ll send you personalized quotes so you can compare them and find the best one for you.

Tired of overpaying for car insurance? It takes just five minutes to compare your options with Insurify and see how much you could save on car insurance.

2. Ask This Company to Get a Big Chunk of Your Debt Forgiven

A company called National Debt Relief could convince your lenders to simply get rid of a big chunk of what you owe. No bankruptcy, no loans — you don’t even need to have good credit.

If you owe at least $10,000 in unsecured debt (credit card debt, personal loans, medical bills, etc.), National Debt Relief’s experts will build you a monthly payment plan. As your payments add up, they negotiate with your creditors to reduce the amount you owe. You then pay off the rest in a lump sum.

On average, you could become debt-free within 24 to 48 months. It takes less than a minute to sign up and see how much debt you could get rid of.

3. You Can Become a Real Estate Investor for as Little as $10

Take a look at some of the world’s wealthiest people. What do they have in common? Many invest in large private real estate deals. And here’s the thing: There’s no reason you can’t, too — for as little as $10.

An investment called the Fundrise Flagship Fund lets you get started in the world of real estate by giving you access to a low-cost, diversified portfolio of private real estate. The best part? You don’t have to be the landlord. The Flagship Fund does all the heavy lifting.

With an initial investment as low as $10, your money will be invested in the Fund, which already owns more than $1 billion worth of real estate around the country, from apartment complexes to the thriving housing rental market to larger last-mile e-commerce logistics centers.

Want to invest more? Many investors choose to invest $1,000 or more. This is a Fund that can fit any type of investor’s needs. Once invested, you can track your performance from your phone and watch as properties are acquired, improved, and operated. As properties generate cash flow, you could earn money through quarterly dividend payments. And over time, you could earn money off the potential appreciation of the properties.

So if you want to get started in the world of real-estate investing, it takes just a few minutes to sign up and create an account with the Fundrise Flagship Fund.

This is a paid advertisement. Carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses of the Fundrise Real Estate Fund before investing. This and other information can be found in the Fund’s prospectus. Read them carefully before investing.

4. Earn Up to $50 this Month By Answering Survey Questions About the News — It’s Anonymous

The news is a heated subject these days. It’s hard not to have an opinion on it.

Good news: A website called YouGov will pay you up to $50 or more this month just to answer survey questions about politics, the economy, and other hot news topics.

Plus, it’s totally anonymous, so no one will judge you for that hot take.

When you take a quick survey (some are less than three minutes), you’ll earn points you can exchange for up to $50 in cash or gift cards to places like Walmart and Amazon. Plus, Penny Hoarder readers will get an extra 500 points for registering and another 1,000 points after completing their first survey.

It takes just a few minutes to sign up and take your first survey, and you’ll receive your points immediately.

5. Get Up to $300 Just for Setting Up Direct Deposit With This Account

If you bank at a traditional brick-and-mortar bank, your money probably isn’t growing much (c’mon, 0.40% is basically nothing).

But there’s good news: With SoFi Checking and Savings (member FDIC), you stand to gain up to a hefty 3.80% APY on savings when you set up a direct deposit or have $5,000 or more in Qualifying Deposits and 0.50% APY on checking balances — savings APY is 10 times more than the national average.

Right now, a direct deposit of at least $1K not only sets you up for higher returns but also brings you closer to earning up to a $300 welcome bonus (terms apply).

You can easily deposit checks via your phone’s camera, transfer funds, and get customer service via chat or phone call. There are no account fees, no monthly fees and no overdraft fees. And your money is FDIC insured (up to $3M of additional FDIC insurance through the SoFi Insured Deposit Program).

It’s quick and easy to open an account with SoFi Checking and Savings (member FDIC) and watch your money grow faster than ever.

5. Stop Paying Your Credit Card Company

If you have credit card debt, you know. The anxiety, the interest rates, the fear you’re never going to escape… but a website called AmONE wants to help.

If you owe your credit card companies $100,000 or less, AmONE will match you with a low-interest loan you can use to pay off every single one of your balances.

The benefit? You’ll be left with one bill to pay each month. And because personal loans have lower interest rates (AmONE rates start at 6.40% APR), you’ll get out of debt that much faster.

It takes less than a minute and just 10 questions to see what loans you qualify for.

6. Lock In Affordable Term Life Insurance in Minutes.

Let’s be honest—life insurance probably isn’t on your list of fun things to research. But locking in a policy now could mean huge peace of mind for your family down the road. And getting covered is actually a lot easier than you might think.

With Best Money’s term life insurance marketplace, you can compare top-rated policies in minutes and find coverage that works for you. No long phone calls. No confusing paperwork. Just straightforward quotes, starting at just $7 a month, from trusted providers so you can make an informed decision.

I once met a man who drove a modest Toyota Corolla, wore beat-up sneakers, and looked like he’d lived the same way for decades. But what really caught my attention was when he casually mentioned he was retired at 45 with more money than he could ever spend. I couldn’t help but ask, “How did you do it?”

He smiled and said, “The secret to saving money is knowing where to look for the waste—and car insurance is one of the easiest places to start.”

He then walked me through a few strategies that I’d never thought of before. Here’s what I learned:

1. Make insurance companies fight for your business

Most people just stick with the same insurer year after year, but that’s what the companies are counting on. This guy used tools like Coverage.com to compare rates every time his policy came up for renewal. It only took him a few minutes, and he said he’d saved hundreds each year by letting insurers compete for his business.

Click here to try Coverage.com and see how much you could save today.

2. Take advantage of safe driver programs

He mentioned that some companies reward good drivers with significant discounts. By signing up for a program that tracked his driving habits for just a month, he qualified for a lower rate. “It’s like a test where you already know the answers,” he joked.

You can find a list of insurance companies offering safe driver discounts here and start saving on your next policy.

3. Bundle your policies

He bundled his auto insurance with his home insurance and saved big. “Most companies will give you a discount if you combine your policies with them. It’s easy money,” he explained. If you haven’t bundled yet, ask your insurer what discounts they offer—or look for new ones that do.

4. Drop coverage you don’t need

He also emphasized reassessing coverage every year. If your car isn’t worth much anymore, it might be time to drop collision or comprehensive coverage. “You shouldn’t be paying more to insure the car than it’s worth,” he said.

5. Look for hidden fees or overpriced add-ons

One of his final tips was to avoid extras like roadside assistance, which can often be purchased elsewhere for less. “It’s those little fees you don’t think about that add up,” he warned.

The Secret? Stop Overpaying

The real “secret” isn’t about cutting corners—it’s about being proactive. Car insurance companies are counting on you to stay complacent, but with tools like Coverage.com and a little effort, you can make sure you’re only paying for what you need—and saving hundreds in the process.

If you’re ready to start saving, take a moment to:

The placement ratio was very less even after doing course in Qspiders one of the top institute in bengaluru. Later I started searching in my hometown expecting not much competition and somehow got job in a mid size company with 12k per month for manual testing in Mangaluru. Well after switching 2 companies in 3.5 years I managed to get offer from a MNC in my hometown for 7.2 lakh/annum with manual testing and decent knowledge of automation tools like selenium. But today latest tools like RPA automation is catching up which quite easier than selenium. So as I know qspiders and other institute like seed infotech is quite well known in placements. But not with complete job assurance.

You can google each institute's and compare them. I guess might somebody have written answer to the same question in Quora.

From the top:

  1. Find edge cases in the code being tested. If the tester finds bugs because an edge case existed but was not handled in the code, log it and show just where it showed up — and start asking why.
  2. Throw random data at the code. Although this usually doesn’t work in QA work, it DOES have the virtue of keeping everyone on their toes.
  3. Discipline. Assume that someone DIDN’T use proof of correctness when this code was being written, since one of the most embarrassing things that a proof does is show you just WHERE a bug in your thinking was when the code was being written or a subsystem was

  4. Test driven design. This shows just WHERE an error might be when the proof shows a possibility of being buggy — and this also helps you find where a unit test could be needed in order to deliver predictable results.
  5. Regression testing of the code wherever possible.
  6. Testing to see where a possible design flaw might exist. This should be done as design processes are turned into code.
  7. When someone hands in work that is correct in a limited environment, check to see if this code is clean in implementation if it’s put into a different environment. You do this one when integration testing is being done.
  8. A healthy distrust of first cuts at getting the job done.

The supportive learning environment at eMexo Technologies made the entire experience even better. The trainers fostered a collaborative atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas.

The course materials were well-organized and easy to follow, and the balance between theory and hands-on practice was just right. I never felt overwhelmed, even when tackling advanced topics, because the trainers ensured we had a solid foundation before moving forward.

Absolutely worth it. Today I am working because of the course that I did 4 years ago. Otherwise God knows which tech support job I'd be at. So, it is worth it.

Although you need to find out the right institute before you make your choice. One of my friends who completed the course at a different center spent so much money and ended up with no job or knowledge.! So, make your choice wisely.

There are many companies that visit.. Almost 2–3 every week. They have an eligibility criteria for attending placements. If it's met by the candidate, he/she can attend placements.

Hope this helps :)

Whether it’s education, banking, or healthcare, digitization transforms every aspect of our lives. The competition for delivering any product or service on time by using applications is highly demanded.

To be a part of this evolution, many startups are launching their services that are trendy over the internet. The rise of biotech startups is one of the best examples of digital growth.

Furthermore, quality counts when it comes to offering software products and services. And when we speak about quality, we have to bring up QA Automation. Software testing covers every stage of the product’s life cycle, from requirements descriptions through design and coding to user approval.

If the product isn’t tested, there may be flaws, and buyers won’t be happy with it. All businesses must have a QA Automation tester to ensure that their product or service is free of defects or glitches.

Reasons for choosing software testing as a career

Before understanding the reasons, let’s first understand briefly about quality assurance.

To ensure the quality of the product and service that you provide to your consumers, it is necessary to conduct quality checks. When it comes to product or service quality control, it’s all about meeting customer expectations.

This is an effective method of avoiding any development bugs. Using this method ensures that finished products are delivered on time and with minimal issues. For businesses, quality assurance is a critical component of customer satisfaction.

Let’s take a look at why now is the perfect time to start a career in QA Automation testing

  1. In-Demand

If you are seeking to grow higher with good earnings in the tech industry, then QA Automation is the way to go. As a software tester, you will never run out of work; prominent firms will be scrambling for your services, and you will have many options to excel in your career.

The need for creative and innovative testers in the industry is constantly increasing as new testing techniques and shorter iterative solution cycles keep launching.

  1. Experimental planning

It’s not enough to just replicate the software’s functions; it’s necessary to develop tests to see how it works in real-world situations. Several types of testing range from something as basic as a Distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack to something more involved, like clicking a button.

  1. It’s an uphill battle

There is no “one size fits all” testing approach since every feature and project has its own unique set of testing challenges QA Automationtesters have a lot of fun deciding on the optimal testing approach, tool, and implementation.

When doing software testing, it’s essential to approach the work from various viewpoints and with a variety of expectations. Testing a product from miscellaneous angles is not always simple, and it takes time and effort to get it right.

  1. Constant learning

Among our students’ favorite aspects of the job is that they constantly learn new things and develop their skills. There are always methods to improve if you are just getting started with coding, automating, or testing security.

Additionally, you are likely to have a strong support system to ensure that you have all you need to perform at your peak potential. Correspondingly, your job will never be static since you will always learn and improve your skills.

  1. It’s a specific skill

Despite popular belief, not everyone can take a test. UI/UX design, development patterns and techniques, as well as analytical and communication skills, are all essential for testers, who tend to come from backgrounds comparable to those of software developers. It might not be for everyone, but those who discover their purpose as QA Automation testers are likely to fall in love with it.

  1. Flexibility

Testing is a highly versatile professional path because of the wide range of business and technical jobs available in the market. There is no limit to how far you may go in terms of advancement. A career in testing is an excellent place to start if you want to learn transferable skills that you can use throughout the software development lifecycle.

  1. Recognizing the needs of the client

As a software tester, it is crucial to keep up with market trends, understand what the customer wants, supply relevant information to the client, and ultimately be able to think and work on the product like the end-user.

Take it a step further

“The principle objective of software testing is to give confidence in the software.”

If you are looking for a career that will put you to the test on every level and see if you can go beyond your comfort zone, then testing is the job for you. Finding bugs that no one else has noticed is a lot of fun. Every day will be a new challenge, and you will need a keen eye for faults to see them.

There are several reasons why you should choose a job in software testing if you are just starting in the IT business. Arokee Academy’s QA Automation testing Bootcamp may be a good fit for you if you are looking for a career that’s both inventive and full of fresh possibilities to grow and learn.

Qspider is the best institution to take software testing training. .. they will teach software testing from scratch. They will help us to work with project.
