Hi there,
Well there are a few things you can do to drive traffic:
- Add graphics to your video and create an end-tag that has your website listed.
- You should create a YouTube page for your business (this should be the first thing you do if you already haven’t). Within that page you can begin a YouTube channel. When you create your page, you can list your website information there. You can also add your website information under each video.

- Share your video on other social media channels. As you may know, Facebook does not like this so you can directly upload your video to your Facebook business page or your personal page.
- If you are able to edit your website, you can add a page to put all your videos on and call it “How-To Videos” or simply “Videos.”
- Begin an email list! This is HUGE. You can really drive traffic to your website and your videos by sending email blast each week to those who subscribe to your email blast. There are a couple free services out there. Check out Marketing Automation - Sell More Stuff | MailChimp or Email Marketing Software | Constant Contact. Each of those will give you a code to add to your website for sign-ups.
These are only five ways to make it work. The biggest thing to remember is to have a call to action (CTA) within or under each video you create. Your call would be to go to your website to find out more! Something like that.
I hope this helps!
The easiest way that I’ve found is using the free (or pro) version of the Elementor page builder. Using the video widget in Elementor, you can just copy the URL of the video from the browser and paste it into the video widget. Then add it to your page or post. It should start playing on your web page.

The problem however, is that Youtube tends to dramatically slow down your web page loading speed. This is because the Youtube player is downloaded on page load and it’s a “heavy” piece of code.
To get around this, I use an image as the thumbnail for the video. It’s also called an overlay. Elementor allows you to easily add the overlay. By using the overlay, the Youtube software only downloads when someone clicks on the thumbnail.
I wrote about how to do the whole process above in this article which you might find useful →

In the Middle Ages of the web, video files had to be fully downloaded to the user's device before they might be viewed.
5. Use a content delivery network
A CDN may be a network of servers that store cached copies of your site's static assets. additionally to improving redundancy, CDNs ensure faster content delivery because the content is served from the closest edge server.
Web page optimization for video content
Selecting the proper video format and optimizing how data gets delivered may be a good start; however, to make sure smooth user experience, your website must even be optimized to support high-quality videos. Here are some tips
1. Specify the video size#
In your HTML or CSS, make certain to define the width and height of videos in order that the browser can allocate the required bandwidth with no extra work.
2. Defer loading videos until page load is complete
If you've got a video that plays automatically when a user arrives on the page, defer it from loading until the initial page load is complete to realize a smoother user experience.
3. Prioritize mobile users
More people are accessing the online from tablets and smartphones a day, so websites that are not optimized for mobile face a serious disadvantage.
It’s actually pretty easy. First, you need to upload your video to a video hosting platform. Make sure to add a title and description to optimize for SEO search - this will really help your video ranking.
For there all you need to do is copy the embedded code and paste it to your Wordpress (or any website)…. and voila!

Let’s all agree that videos are a powerhouse of traffic as these videos engage visitors and convey messages powerfully. Strategists like me use video marketing to improve conversion rate, session time, page views and decrease bounce rates.
Upon finding out how effective it can be, we started posting welcome videos, explainer videos, product demo videos, corporate content, brand videos, etc. regularly.
Though you may feel it to be the best thing that can bring traffic to your website, but trust me, it can act as a double-edged sword. Users out there demand high resolution and intensive video content. If posted regularly, it can create performance issues for a website that is not optimized for videos. Video content takes 2X more space on a page than normal text or image content and may affect the speed of the site.
How did we deal with it?
We believe high-quality video content can swap normal visitors for countable traffic and converting customers. And we can take two ways:
- By Optimizing the Video File – It maintains the Page Speed
- By Optimizing the Web Page - It Embeds and Displays Video Content
Optimize Video Files for Web Pages
- Prioritize Video User Experience (UX)
- Video Length – Keep the video length short or use data compression tools to reduce file size without affecting quality.
- Optimize Videos for Web Streaming – Optimize the file format of your videos and convert your video files to HTML5 formats. The most widely used formats are MP4, WEBM, and MKV
- Prefer Mobile-First - Make sure your video is mobile optimized
- Hosting Your Video – Either host videos on your website or embed those videos on your website via youtube or Vimeo videos.
- Use a content delivery network to get content from the closest edge server for faster content delivery.
Optimize Web Pages for Video Content
- Specify the size of the video in HTML and CSS to let the browser allocate the necessary bandwidth.
- Prevent loading videos until the initial page loads for a quality user experience.
- Prefer responsive web designs to make your video fit all screen sizes
By doing all this, you will surely help your video get maximum views without affecting the website performance.
Opu the best way to make video backlink is a video submission but if you don’t want to submit video then you can comment on existing videos with your website link.
3 Things that have been PROVEN to work in successfully pulling traffic from video sites to your video and from your video to your site
#1 Use clickbait titles - Be controversial. Go out on a limb. Don’t be passive or ‘safe.’ The more people get engaged or annoyed enough to comment, the more interaction/engagement your video provokes and the higher you rank. Of course, do this within reason - don’t lie / don’t bait and switch / don’t misrepresent.

Of course, do this within reason - don’t lie / don’t bait and switch / don’t misrepresent.
#2 Use Facebook video the right way - Instead of posting your video directly, use a teaser video with the most attention getting screenshot and add a video icon - also put a caption to the top and bottom in IMPACT FONT and YELLOW ON BLACK with BOLD borders. This vacuums eyeballs to your link - again, don’t go overboard though.
#3 When posting Facebook Video Leave a HOOK - a hook is a crucial part that is left off the video. For people to get info on that part they have to visit your site. Post the URL of the missing info but use a link shortener because people can’t be expected to remember a long string of info. DO NOT Post the link in your post because this can kill the reach of the video.
You need to set all your videos as unlisted in the settings. That means they cannot be discovered by anyone unless you give them the URL of the video. Then you simply embed that video URL in your web page that is reserved for logged in users only. It is a very simple process. What you might want to consider though is keeping some content public to act as an ad and then keep your premium content unlisted so that the public videos attracts more people to your website to sign up. It is a classic call to action, permission marketing technique.
If you are using Google Analytics, you could use event tracking which allows you to track how users interact with your site - this include how many people are hitting 'play', 'pause', 'stop' on a video, how long they are playing it for etc.
Tracking these events is quite cool as it not only gives you insights on how your users interact with your site, but it allows you to also create 'event flows' within Google Analytics - for example you may want to see how many of the people played a video then went and complete another important action on your site (i.e. a goal).

How to implement event tracking
Event tracking requires:
- you to decide the following: event category, action and label*. These are the parameters you will see in your reporting within GA interface. A simple example: category in this case could be 'video', action could be 'play', label could be '<name of the video>'.
* For completion, I have to say that there's also a fourth parameter you could set up which is a 'non interaction' parameter. This parameter specifies whether you want your event to have an impact on your bounce rate - by the default events do affect bounce rate which means: if I land on your site and trigger and event, I'm not a bounce. This default setting works in most cases so you might not need to specify this but is good to be aware of it.
- a bit of java script implemented in your code. The developers section on Google Analytics offers a clear explanation on how to set this up (https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/events)
Note: please note that the script to use is slightly different depending on whether you use Google Classic Analytics or Google Universal Analytics, so make sure you use the correct event script. Refer to Google support for more info on this.
This is how I normally track videos and other user interactions within Google Analytics - there's so much you can do with events if you set them in a clever way.
It'd be interesting to see if other Quora users have different approaches.
I hope this is clear and helps!!

Store them into a cloud storage, then fetch the link for playing ,you can even use youtube for that. .mp4 is the best, but I suggest hire a developer who can create a engine script to convert bulk files while uploading that way all your work is automated. Its also secure that way instead of doing manually as its not the best approach when your site is scaling.
Copy the embed code from the video hosting site and paste the code on your webpage.
And no, you don’t need any extra space for embedding videos.
Hope that helps you

i think the best method to build backlinks for a website is to make manually building backlinks to high authority sites as well, and one more fact is that if your site site well maintained as well to a targeted audence! then your video will be automaticly get rank to google as well
It depends on where you upload that video. For example, if you want to get a url to send to someone you can just upload the video to Youtube and then play that video after uploading then right click and select copy url to get the URL for that specific video.

Once the file has been scheduled, OneStream will broadcast the file to your connected platform at the set time automatically. The best part is, you can enjoy your broadcast while enjoying your evening snacks because the platform will be streaming the video using its own bandwidth.

You can use the event announcement feature to inform your followers about the upcoming LIVE broadcast. Event announcements can be set from 15 min to 6 days prior to going live, which is a great way to promote your content.
Any video that allows you to embed the video elsewhere has a “share” feature right there with the clip. That will generate the code for you to publish the video on your site.
This is perfectly allowed and legal because you are still serving it up from YouTube. In no way does this give you any control or ownership of the content. You are simply making another page to make THEIR content available.
Many people see YouTube as a good career option now a days. To earn from YouTube you need to get people to view your videos. And to get views on your YouTube channel you should consider following things.
- Create a great piece of video
- Use an interesting title
- Use Tags related to your video
- Use a click-bait thumbnail
- Share your video on social media as much as you can
- Build an audience on WhatsApp and Telegram.
- Write a relevant and keyword rich description
- Collaborate with other influencers in your niche
The best way to share videos, is to first think of where your audience is, and at what level of you want to engage them at. Let me explain:
- Videos on Facebook (native, not links to YouTube etc) tend to get a larger reach. This is partly because they autoplay, so if you can quickly engage viewers they will stop scrolling and watch.
- YouTube videos generally have a higher quality of engagement. What I mean by this is that viewers are usually actively looking to watch video content, and have often searched for related terms to your video. They may even be watching on a smart TV or game console. So t

So they will usually be more focused on watching your video, versus someone who has paused for a second whilst scrolling their newsfeed.
- Instagram is more similar to FB video in that viewers generally aren’t there to dedicate time to really paying attention to video. But, like FB, the flipside of this is that you can reach people who weren’t seeking out video, and if you can engage them with a short video, you can convert them to a more engaged action (such as clicking your bio link to your website).
- The community on Vimeo is all about cinematic, crafted content. If you’re looking to reach a highly creative audience, with an above average number of influencers, then Vimeo is the place to go.
- Self hosting or using a white-label video host (e.g Wistia). If the video is part of your product, or is your whole product, for example a paid video course, then you’ll want to present a professional image to your customers / users. Using your own branded player helps keep your branding consistent and focused, as well as usually offering powerful tools for business, such as heatmaps, A/B testing, and built in conversion forms.
You also want to ‘go where the fish are’ - just like promoting written content, the best way to share video is to have it shared by relevant influencers and publishers for your target audience.
For example, The Huffington Post publishes videos on their Facebook page which have been created as ‘guest posts’ by other content creators. Currently they have 8.3m FB fans, which is likely more than you have, so posting here would be better.
So really the answer is ‘it depends’. They key is always thinking first of who you’re making the video for, and work backwards from there.
