It's true that there are other fields for "featuring" artists. The trouble is that many music players don't display these fields.

But first, let's just break down the problem... When you say:

I really hate going through my artist list and seeing:

Artist
Artist (feat. Other Artist)
Artist (feat. Another Artist)
Artist (feat. Some Remixing DJ)

... are you referring to artists being related to a distinct release, causing the release to be duplicated several times with different artist names? If so, an alternative is to allow the track artist (TPE1) to remain as-is and use the "album artist" (TPE2) field to denote the artist for the release. TPE2's has become de-facto used for album artist information.

TPE2 is fairly well supported. The other TPEn fields become progressively less so. If your problem can be solved with "album artist" I suggest using that.

Overpaying on car insurance

You’ve heard it a million times before, but the average American family still overspends by $417/year on car insurance.

If you’ve been with the same insurer for years, chances are you are one of them.

Pull up Coverage.com, a free site that will compare prices for you, answer the questions on the page, and it will show you how much you could be saving.

That’s it. You’ll likely be saving a bunch of money. Here’s a link to give it a try.

Consistently being in debt

If you’ve got $10K+ in debt (credit cards…medical bills…anything really) you could use a debt relief program and potentially reduce by over 20%.

Here’s how to see if you qualify:

Head over to this Debt Relief comparison website here, then simply answer the questions to see if you qualify.

It’s as simple as that. You’ll likely end up paying less than you owed before and you could be debt free in as little as 2 years.

Missing out on free money to invest

It’s no secret that millionaires love investing, but for the rest of us, it can seem out of reach.

Times have changed. There are a number of investing platforms that will give you a bonus to open an account and get started. All you have to do is open the account and invest at least $25, and you could get up to $1000 in bonus.

Pretty sweet deal right? Here is a link to some of the best options.

Having bad credit

A low credit score can come back to bite you in so many ways in the future.

From that next rental application to getting approved for any type of loan or credit card, if you have a bad history with credit, the good news is you can fix it.

Head over to BankRate.com and answer a few questions to see if you qualify. It only takes a few minutes and could save you from a major upset down the line.

How to get started

Hope this helps! Here are the links to get started:

Have a separate savings account

Go for a short walk- take your camera. See Things. Take random pictures but NOT of the subject your block. If your painting a house, don’t photograph any. Shoot cars or trees or people walking a pet. If you’re writing about people, photograph anything else…

10 minutes. 10 pictures. Come home and look at them. See if they need cropping or maybe you wish you’d pulled back a little more, etc..

This might unblock you or nudge you onto a tangent for a time.

This design just popped out -once I had the basic form down.

Method 1 of 2:Using Your Media Player
1. Open your media player.

Whether you're using iTunes, Media Player, or a third-party music service, you'll need to open the program to view the music files in question.

2. Select your MP3s for editing.

Most programs allow you to click and drag any MP3 files not already in your library into your media player of choice to add them.

You can also highlight any MP3s you wish to edit, right-click (or two-finger click on Mac) a highlighted file, and select "Play" or "Play with... (default media player)". This will bring up your MP3 files in your default program as

This will bring up your MP3 files in your default program as they are.

Use this as a chance to consolidate all of your MP3 files. In the interest of efficiency, they should all be in the same location--your default music folder is the best bet.

3. Download relevant album art.

While most of the tagging you'll do on MP3s is text-based, you also have the option of adding album art. If this appeals to you, try searching the album art for your selected MP3s in an image service like Google or Bing Images.

Try to find the highest quality photos possible; they may look good in a thumbnail, but lower-quality photos can become granulated when they expand to fit your screen.

4. Right-click an MP3 file within the media player.

Again, depending on what kind of media player you're using, your specific process will vary slightly; however, most media players require you to right-click the MP3 file you wish to edit, find some version of "edit file" in the ensuing right-click menu, and click that option.

For example, iTunes has an option entitled "Get info", which opens the MP3's tag input; Windows Media Player's menu, on the other hand, simply says "edit".

If you're using Windows Media Player and your MP3 files are from a legitimate or primary source, you can select "Find album info", which will normally fill in the details of the selected music automatically.

5. Edit your MP3s' information.

Tags include items such as artist name, track number in an album, and genre of music; feel free to edit all of these accordingly.

Fields such as "album", "year", and "artist" can be edited in batches. To do this, highlight all relevant MP3s in your media player, right- or control-click one of the selected MP3s, and select the editing option.

To ensure maximum accuracy, consider looking up the album or track details as you go. This is especially helpful when entering the track number details.

6. Play your MP3s to ensure editing carryover.

Once you finish tagging all of your chosen MP3s, exit out of your media player, reboot it, and try playing some of the edited MP3s. The changes should have been saved, and you should now have fully-tagged MP3 files.

You should also re-sync any mobile devices post-editing, both to update your library and to ensure that all the tags carry over correctly.

Method 2 of 2:Using an MP3 Tagger
1. Download an MP3 tagger of your choice.

MP3 taggers range drastically in terms of quality of interface and functionality, but all taggers provide the same basic service: automatically filling in your MP3s' information en masse. You'll probably have to install whichever MP3 tagger you download, even if it is an add-on; be ready to restart your computer after doing so.

TuneUp, a highly-recommended add-on for iTunes, features a simple drag-and-drop interface; unfortunately, the most practical version of the software is $15. While this program is generally worth the money, if you don't want to pay the initial fee, you'll be restricted to tagging 100 songs and 50 album art pieces a month.

MP3tag, on the other hand, is free for Windows and Mac alike. Its sparse yet accessible interface is ideal for editing large batches of MP3 files, and it is compatible with a huge amount of online databases for tag importing.

2. Open your MP3 tagger.

Once you've finished downloading and installing the tagger of your choice, open it and familiarize yourself with its settings.

Some programs will allow you to de-select any media that isn't an MP3; for the purposes of editing ID3 tags, you should enable this setting.

3. Make sure your internet connection is stable.

Since the information MP3 taggers draw from is online-based, you'll want to have a strong connection to the internet for the entire time that your files are being tagged.

An ethernet cable connecting you to the router can help expedite this process.

4. Select your MP3s for tagging.

Locate your MP3s, select all that you wish to edit, and drag them into your tagger.

If possible, try to keep your MP3s relatively organized in small batches to make sure you don't have a cluster of poorly-tagged MP3s going into the tagger all at once. You'll want to limit your sample size if something goes wrong in the process.

5. Use your tagger to import tags.

Since there are tons of available MP3 taggers for you to use, there isn't one universal instruction regarding this step; however, you should be able to view and edit a large amount of MP3 files within the program's interface, with the option to scan for and import music tags.

6. Play your MP3s to ensure editing carryover.

Although most MP3 taggers are fairly accurate, there's always the chance that one of your files will be mislabeled.

You should also re-sync any mobile devices post-editing, both to update your library and to ensure that all the tags carry over correctly.

Like many of you reading this, I’ve been looking for ways to earn money online in addition to my part-time job. But you know how it is – the internet is full of scams and shady-grady stuff, so I spent weeks trying to find something legit. And I finally did!

Freecash surprised me in all the right ways. I’ve earned over $1,000 in one month without ‘living’ on the platform. I was skeptical right up until the moment I cashed out to my PayPal.

What is Freecash all about?

Basically, it’s a platform that pays you for testing apps and games and completing surveys. This helps developers improve their applications while you make some money.

  • You can earn by downloading apps, testing games, or completing surveys. I love playing games, so that’s where most of my earnings came from (oh, and my favorites were Warpath, Wild Fish, and Domino Dreams).
  • There’s a variety of offers (usually, the higher-paying ones take more time).
  • Some games can pay up to $1,000 for completing a task, but these typically require more hours to finish.
  • On average, you can easily earn $30–50/day.
  • You pick your options — you’re free to choose whatever apps, games, and surveys you like.

Of course, it’s not like you can spend 5 minutes a day and become a millionaire. But you can build a stable income in reasonable time, especially if you turn it into a daily habit.

Why did I like Freecash?

  • It’s easy. I mean it. You don’t have to do anything complicated. All you need is to follow the task and have some free time to spend on it. For some reason, I especially enjoyed the game Domino Dreams. My initial goal was to complete chapter 10 to get my first $30, but I couldn’t stop playing and ended up completing chapter 15. It was lots of fun and also free money: $400 from that game alone.
  • No experience needed. Even if you’ve never done any ‘testing’ before, you can do this. You get straightforward task descriptions, so it’s impossible to go wrong. A task you might expect is something like: Download this game and complete all challenges in 14 days.
  • You can do it from anywhere. I was earning money while taking the bus, chilling on the couch, and during my breaks.
  • Fast cashing out. I had my earnings in my PayPal account in less than 1 day. I’m not sure how long it takes for other withdrawal methods (crypto, gift cards, etc.), but it should be fast as well.
  • You can earn a lot if you’re consistent. I’ve literally seen users in the Leaderboard making $3,000 in just one month. Of course, to get there, you need time, but making a couple of hundred dollars is really easy and relatively fast for anyone.

Don’t miss these PRO tips to earn more:

I feel like most users don’t know about these additional ways to make more money with Freecash:

  • Free promo codes: You can follow Freecash on social media to get weekly promo codes for free coins, which you can later exchange for money.
  • Daily rewards and bonuses: If you use the platform daily, you’ll get additional bonuses that help you earn more.
  • In-app purchases to speed up processes: While playing, you can buy items to help speed up task completion. It’s optional, but it really saved me time, and I earned 4x more than I spent.
  • Choose the highest-paying offers: Check New Offers and Featured Offers to get the best opportunities that pay the most.

Honestly, I still can’t believe I was able to earn this much so easily. And I’ve actually enjoyed the whole process. So, if you’re looking for some truly legit ways to earn money online, Freecash is a very good option.

Tagging for search optimization is an SEO question, and I am not an SEO specialist. However, in my experience, it’s best to follow the guidelines given by the search engine provider for how to tag content for their search engine. That means following the youtube instructions.

Likewise, if your question was about how to embed a youtube video, it’s best to use only official solutions, either the embed code that youtube offers, or the official API intended for youtube developers.

I know I'm late here, but anyone interested in this topic will want to check out Rovi's API. Rovi leverages the well known music database that powers AllMusic.com and many, many other products. And the metadata catalog is pretty huge (e.g. more than 30 mm albums).
The associated genre hierarchy is professionally curated and uses a controlled vocabulary, meaning you'll get consistency from album to album and artist to artist.

Some useful links:

  • music coverage stats (how many albums and artists in the Rovi database): http://www.rovicorp.com/products/discovery/metadata/music-data.htm (see the c

ID3 is a format for encoding metadata, generally about an audio stream. The metadata may contain such things as a name for the stream (e.g. the track name), the containing release name (e.g. the album name), artwork related to the stream, and much more.

I think I'm eligible to answer your question since almost all of my music library is clean with proper tags in place. MusicBrainz Picard is the thing you need.

MusicBrainz Picard
It is available for free and has databases for most of the English, Hindi and mainstream regional songs. The another one is Streaming Audio Recorder, this one will be helpful in cleaning up your regional music library.

Streaming Audio Recorder - Record streaming audio, convert and download music
Hope this helps!

P.S. My library consists of English, Hindi, Punjabi Folk songs
