Once you reach 1000+ subs, you can start monetizing your channel with ads, which helps you make some money. It’s not much, but as you grow your channel, it adds up. This method can be combined with one or more of the methods mentioned below. - Sell digital or physical products
By showing your audience demo of your digital or physical products, YouTube is about as good as (in some cases even better than) a TV commercial, only free. Yes it will take some time to rank your videos, but with consistency, knowledge and patience, you’ll eventually have free ads running for you bringing you leads, sales and making you money on autopilot. - Promote products as an affiliate
This is one of the most popular methods of making money on YouTube. All you need is to have a review copy/sample of an item. Shoot a video that shows the pros and cons of what you’re reviewing and tell people that if they’re interested in one, they can use your link in the description. Make sure to be explicit about the link being an affiliate link, or YouTube might get very upset with you. - Become a brand ambassador
Many brands are looking for YouTubers who can become their ambassadors. You can showcase their products and/or services for an agreed one-off or recurring fee. Obviously, this does require that you have the right skill set to attract views. - Start a crowd funding campaign
GoFundMe, Kickstarter and Indiegogo are some of many sites where you can start a crowd funding campaign. YouTube is an excellent platform to attract people to your campaign. - Sell your digital courses
Whether you just need to attract new leads to sell your courses or you want to host your entire video course on YouTube (set privacy to “Unlisted” and offer the link to those who purchase), YouTube is one of the go-to platforms for many digital course creators. - Sell your services
If you offer any kind of services, whether as a freelancer, an established consultant or as an agency, YouTube is wonderful to bring in leads that you can convert them into sales. Just focus on creating high quality content and be patient. It does take time and effort at the beginning, but it’s 100% worth it. - Become a YouTube celebrity (aka influencer)
This is more for those who are more established with lots of views. If you post engaging content very frequently, which can get you hundreds of thousands of views, you’ll become a YouTube celebrity. You don’t need millions of subscribers, you just need engaged audience and fans. You can then sell your services to give shoutout to others. - Start a gaming channel
Gaming is huge on YouTube. If you’re a gamer, thinking about joining gaming communities and start engaging with them while creating content. There are so many ways you can monetize your gaming videos on YouTube - YouTube ads
Don’t have the patience to wait for organic reach? Why not try your hands on YouTube ads? You can reach your audience a lot faster and be as targeted as you want. The amazing thing about YouTube ads is that you can place your ads on the top of any video (as long as they’re monetized), which means you can “hijack” other popular videos in minutes.
Hope that was helpful. If you need me to expand on any of the above, let me know and I’ll do my best to provide more details.

Like many of you reading this, I’ve been looking for ways to earn money online in addition to my part-time job. But you know how it is – the internet is full of scams and shady-grady stuff, so I spent weeks trying to find something legit. And I finally did!
Freecash surprised me in all the right ways. I’ve earned over $1,000 in one month without ‘living’ on the platform. I was skeptical right up until the moment I cashed out to my PayPal.
What is Freecash all about?
Basically, it’s a platform that pays you for testing apps and games and completing surveys. This helps developers improve their applications while you make some money.
- You can earn by downloading apps, testing games, or completing surveys. I love playing games, so that’s where most of my earnings came from (oh, and my favorites were Warpath, Wild Fish, and Domino Dreams).
- There’s a variety of offers (usually, the higher-paying ones take more time).
- Some games can pay up to $1,000 for completing a task, but these typically require more hours to finish.
- On average, you can easily earn $30–50/day.
- You pick your options — you’re free to choose whatever apps, games, and surveys you like.
Of course, it’s not like you can spend 5 minutes a day and become a millionaire. But you can build a stable income in reasonable time, especially if you turn it into a daily habit.
Why did I like Freecash?
- It’s easy. I mean it. You don’t have to do anything complicated. All you need is to follow the task and have some free time to spend on it. For some reason, I especially enjoyed the game Domino Dreams. My initial goal was to complete chapter 10 to get my first $30, but I couldn’t stop playing and ended up completing chapter 15. It was lots of fun and also free money: $400 from that game alone.
- No experience needed. Even if you’ve never done any ‘testing’ before, you can do this. You get straightforward task descriptions, so it’s impossible to go wrong. A task you might expect is something like: Download this game and complete all challenges in 14 days.
- You can do it from anywhere. I was earning money while taking the bus, chilling on the couch, and during my breaks.
- Fast cashing out. I had my earnings in my PayPal account in less than 1 day. I’m not sure how long it takes for other withdrawal methods (crypto, gift cards, etc.), but it should be fast as well.
- You can earn a lot if you’re consistent. I’ve literally seen users in the Leaderboard making $3,000 in just one month. Of course, to get there, you need time, but making a couple of hundred dollars is really easy and relatively fast for anyone.
Don’t miss these PRO tips to earn more:
I feel like most users don’t know about these additional ways to make more money with Freecash:
- Free promo codes: You can follow Freecash on social media to get weekly promo codes for free coins, which you can later exchange for money.
- Daily rewards and bonuses: If you use the platform daily, you’ll get additional bonuses that help you earn more.
- In-app purchases to speed up processes: While playing, you can buy items to help speed up task completion. It’s optional, but it really saved me time, and I earned 4x more than I spent.
- Choose the highest-paying offers: Check New Offers and Featured Offers to get the best opportunities that pay the most.
Honestly, I still can’t believe I was able to earn this much so easily. And I’ve actually enjoyed the whole process. So, if you’re looking for some truly legit ways to earn money online, Freecash is a very good option.
Here are some ways…
- Be a pure content creator and create GOOD quality content and join Youtube’s Partner Program so that they show ads in your videos and you get paid for them being shown.
- Create good content but include a software pitch or solution near the end (AKA a CTA - Call to Action). And include a link in your description too.
- Create good suited to a specific niche and arrange a deal with a related business to market their business using an intro and outro within your videos. Branded for the client!
- Create videos for clients and local businesses and rank them in Youtube and Google.

You can also earn money via sponsorship. You sort of make a deal with a company or a brand that offers products or services that your viewers might like. Thus you display their goods in your videos and get paid for that.
You might have noticed that many popular YouTubers create and sell their own stuff. It can be anything, really, like small souvenirs, pens, notebook etc. This is another way of earning money. However, for this, your channel should be pretty popular.
You’ve probably heard stories about regular people earning money on YouTube and thought, “Hey, I can do this too!”. You’ve probably heard stories about regular people earning money on YouTube and thought, “Hey, I can do this too!”. While earning thousands of dollars probably isn’t realistic, you can start earning money quickly, especially if you have a strong subscriber base. Follow this guide to get your videos monetized and start earning revenue off of those YouTube ads.
Steps
- Set up and build your YouTube channel. Your channel is your personal presence on YouTube. Each YouTube account has one channel attached to it. A YouTube account is the same as a Google account, and creating a YouTube account will grant you access to other Google products, such as Gmail and Drive.Create your account or use your existing one. Add keywords to help people find your channel. You can add keywords by navigating to the Advanced section of your Channel Settings. Make sure that your keywords are relevant to your content.Your user name can also work for or against you. If it’s short, easy to remember, and original, people will be more apt to remember you. However if you are using an existing account, you can always change your username by editing it on your Google+ account.
- Add content. Try to upload content that is high quality, and isn't super long. (This option can vary depending on what type of content you decide to upload) Also try to upload regularly and stay consistent with your uploads.Even if your content isn't great at first, keep at it. Practice makes perfect. Try to make each video better than the last. You will often learn as you go.Improve your content by either using a better camera or trying better editing software or techniques. Also try to improve the way things are filmed. Use a tripod, have a friend help you or light your scenes better. It all helps for a better end product which in turn helps you get a better http://audience.By uploading regularly you can help hold an audience. People are more likely to subscribe if you add content on regular schedule, and maintain that schedule as much as possible.Make sure to tag your videos with key words that describe the content, as well as an eye-catching description. These will help drive people to your video from YouTube searches.
- Gain an audience. Building an audience is key to increasing your monetization. You need people to watch your ads in order to make any money off of them. There is no one secret to getting more subscribers, just make the best content that you can and they will come to you.Keep uploading content and try to get people hooked. Send your video out on Twitter and Facebook. Share it with people. Distribute it elsewhere on the internet. Subscribers are essential to becoming a partner.Interact with your viewers by responding to comments and making occasional videos directly related to viewer comments and questions. Connecting with your community will bring more members into that community.
- Monetize your videos. In order to start earning money on your videos, you’ll need to enable monetization. This means you are allowing YouTube to place ads in your video. This also means that you acknowledge that there is no copyrighted material in your video.Go to YouTube and click "My Channel" on the webpage.Click the link called "Video Manager" on the top bar.Click channel and Enable on monetization.
- Get at least ten thousand total views to start earning money. You can monetize a video as it uploads by clicking the Monetization tab and checking the “Monetize with Ads” Share links for cash! monetize a video after it has been uploaded, open your Video Manager and click the “$” sign next to the video that you want to monetize. Check the “Monetize with Ads” box.
- Set up Google AdSense. You can set up Google AdSense for free at the AdSense website. Click the Sign Up Now button to begin creating your account. You must be 18 years or older to create your own account. If you are younger than that, you will need an adult to help you.You need either PayPal or a bank account and a valid mailing address as well as other information so AdSense can verify who you are and who to send the money to. You only gain money per ad click and a smaller amount per view but it adds up over time. This is why having an audience is key.
- Check your analytics. Once you have some videos online, monetized, and being viewed, you can check out the analytics on them to see how they are performing. Click the Analytics option in your Channel menu. Here you can view estimated earnings, ad performance, video views, demographics and more.Use these tools to see how your content is resonating with your audience. You can change your content or your marketing if you’re finding that you aren’t attracting the users that you want to.
- Market your videos elsewhere. Don't put your videos just on YouTube! Start a blog, make a website or post them on other video or social media sites. The more views it gets, the better. By sharing the link or embedding the video on the internet, you are increasing the chance of it getting noticed.
- Become a YouTube partner. YouTube Partners are YouTube members who have monetized videos with a large number of viewers. Partners gain access to more content creation tools, and can win prizes for the number of viewers they have. Partners also get access to much more community support and tips. You can apply for YouTube partnership at any time through the YouTube Partner page. In order to gain access to the most powerful Partner programs, you need to have 15,000 cumulative watch hours for your channel over the last 90 days.

1. Cancel Your Car Insurance
You might not even realize it, but your car insurance company is probably overcharging you. In fact, they’re kind of counting on you not noticing. Luckily, this problem is easy to fix.
Don’t waste your time browsing insurance sites for a better deal. A company called Insurify shows you all your options at once — people who do this save up to $996 per year.
If you tell them a bit about yourself and your vehicle, they’ll send you personalized quotes so you can compare them and find the best one for you.
Tired of overpaying for car insurance? It takes just five minutes to compare your options with Insurify and see how much you could save on car insurance.
2. Ask This Company to Get a Big Chunk of Your Debt Forgiven
A company called National Debt Relief could convince your lenders to simply get rid of a big chunk of what you owe. No bankruptcy, no loans — you don’t even need to have good credit.
If you owe at least $10,000 in unsecured debt (credit card debt, personal loans, medical bills, etc.), National Debt Relief’s experts will build you a monthly payment plan. As your payments add up, they negotiate with your creditors to reduce the amount you owe. You then pay off the rest in a lump sum.
On average, you could become debt-free within 24 to 48 months. It takes less than a minute to sign up and see how much debt you could get rid of.
3. You Can Become a Real Estate Investor for as Little as $10
Take a look at some of the world’s wealthiest people. What do they have in common? Many invest in large private real estate deals. And here’s the thing: There’s no reason you can’t, too — for as little as $10.
An investment called the Fundrise Flagship Fund lets you get started in the world of real estate by giving you access to a low-cost, diversified portfolio of private real estate. The best part? You don’t have to be the landlord. The Flagship Fund does all the heavy lifting.
With an initial investment as low as $10, your money will be invested in the Fund, which already owns more than $1 billion worth of real estate around the country, from apartment complexes to the thriving housing rental market to larger last-mile e-commerce logistics centers.
Want to invest more? Many investors choose to invest $1,000 or more. This is a Fund that can fit any type of investor’s needs. Once invested, you can track your performance from your phone and watch as properties are acquired, improved, and operated. As properties generate cash flow, you could earn money through quarterly dividend payments. And over time, you could earn money off the potential appreciation of the properties.
So if you want to get started in the world of real-estate investing, it takes just a few minutes to sign up and create an account with the Fundrise Flagship Fund.
This is a paid advertisement. Carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses of the Fundrise Real Estate Fund before investing. This and other information can be found in the Fund’s prospectus. Read them carefully before investing.
4. Earn Up to $50 this Month By Answering Survey Questions About the News — It’s Anonymous
The news is a heated subject these days. It’s hard not to have an opinion on it.
Good news: A website called YouGov will pay you up to $50 or more this month just to answer survey questions about politics, the economy, and other hot news topics.
Plus, it’s totally anonymous, so no one will judge you for that hot take.
When you take a quick survey (some are less than three minutes), you’ll earn points you can exchange for up to $50 in cash or gift cards to places like Walmart and Amazon. Plus, Penny Hoarder readers will get an extra 500 points for registering and another 1,000 points after completing their first survey.
It takes just a few minutes to sign up and take your first survey, and you’ll receive your points immediately.
5. Get Up to $300 Just for Setting Up Direct Deposit With This Account
If you bank at a traditional brick-and-mortar bank, your money probably isn’t growing much (c’mon, 0.40% is basically nothing).
But there’s good news: With SoFi Checking and Savings (member FDIC), you stand to gain up to a hefty 3.80% APY on savings when you set up a direct deposit or have $5,000 or more in Qualifying Deposits and 0.50% APY on checking balances — savings APY is 10 times more than the national average.
Right now, a direct deposit of at least $1K not only sets you up for higher returns but also brings you closer to earning up to a $300 welcome bonus (terms apply).
You can easily deposit checks via your phone’s camera, transfer funds, and get customer service via chat or phone call. There are no account fees, no monthly fees and no overdraft fees. And your money is FDIC insured (up to $3M of additional FDIC insurance through the SoFi Insured Deposit Program).
It’s quick and easy to open an account with SoFi Checking and Savings (member FDIC) and watch your money grow faster than ever.

The benefit? You’ll be left with one bill to pay each month. And because personal loans have lower interest rates (AmONE rates start at 6.40% APR), you’ll get out of debt that much faster.
It takes less than a minute and just 10 questions to see what loans you qualify for.

You can of course start with YouTube ads, Yes those annyoing ads we skip..people do click those!
They will pay you between 1–7 dollars per thousand views and they really ad up. Get it ad up..haha
I personally prefer affiliate marketing because the pay is higher. Say for example you have a channel on craft making.
There is probaby a course that teaches people about crafts or related topics. Many courses have affiliate programs. What this means is if you send them a buyer, they will pay you a percentage of the sale.
For example. If the course is 297 dollars they might pay you 100 every time someone you refer buys.
If you have a channel all about crafts yout audience will love this course and there is a good chance you can place your link and they will be happy you did. Its a win win
For them you shared an awesome place they can learn how to do something and for you, you can get paid a substantial amount with a small audience that you would never make in ads.
Best part is you can do them both.
Another great way is to create your own course! if your creating all this content on youtube you clearly have knowledge on a subject you too can create a course and sell it to them and keep 100% and its easier than you think.
Now, with sites like thinkific and teachable ..you can make a course easily. Just film some lessons on your phone and sell!
These are 3 great ways to get the ball rolling but there are a ton more.
Hope this helps?!

There are actually quite a few ways you can make money from your YouTube channel.
The main way people attempt to make money from YouTube is by generating ad revenue from YouTube directly.
This has become more difficult for newer and smaller channels since you now have to be approved and maintain a certain number of views to remain part of their program.
In all honesty I think going for this approach is short sighted anyway as most smaller channels make a lot more money from thinking outside of the box.

Affiliate Marketing
If you have a channel and cover niche then you can easily start promoting products you believe in and recommend people head over to your website or sales page to learn more.
You technically shouldn’t put your affiliate links in your description but can link to your own blog where you then break down the options and have complete freedom to promote products however you desire.
Sponsored Content
If you build relationships with companies and have established some influence you may be able to partner up on creating paid for sponsored content promoting the products.
Remember to always disclose sponsored content.
Build a List
The best long-term approach to making money is to build an audience YOU OWN.
You can easily leverage the volume of traffic on YouTube to help you do this by pointing people to a link in your description which goes to an email sign up page for them to join your email newsletter.
When Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and <insert the next social network to arrive> start to reduce your reach to your existing followers you can rely on the fact you own your email list and can always make sure everyone gets your updates and product recommendations for the foreseeable not just the next few months until an algorithm change.
Final Advice
If you are planning on starting a YouTube channel and you don’t expect to have millions of followers like Pewdiepie then you are better off focusing on the above 3 ideas than relying on ad revenue directly from YouTube.
Become a partner: To earn directly through YouTube, you must partner with the site. Once you do, there are several ways to cash in, but to become a partner you must meet the requirements: Your videos must abide by the site’s advertising guidelines, and you need at least 10,000 channel views.

The more videos you have, the easier it is to reach that 10,000-view threshold. Someone with 200 videos needs only 50 views per video to get there, whereas a person with 10 videos needs 1,000 views per video. High-quality, entertaining videos are more likely to get views, so it pays to put effort into planning and production.
Connect to Google AdSense: Once you’re approved as a partner, you can connect your channel to Google AdSense, the company’s advertising system. Advertisers use AdSense to bid for space on videos based on factors such as your audience, video topic and relevant keywords.
In general, you’ll be paid based on the number of “impressions” your videos get; that’s when someone clicks on or watches an ad. Ads don’t display every time someone watches a video, though, so views don’t translate directly to money in the bank. Also, YouTube takes a cut of the ad revenue; it wouldn’t disclose that rate.

And then do some basic promotional preparation of it like I would say something which will be done for example like title and description of video and insert some links ther to be sure. So please be prepared for all that. Offers and products for that you usually can get from some affiliate CPA or CPS networks and some content locking ones. So you really can be sure to earn well, just be prepared to create a lof of such videos and with some very uncertain names or other tricks so they will survive much longer cause usually over time they will be spotted and deleted completely really. It also very clearly depends on your niche and some other things like luck even. Some other way would be probably buying ads for your products right on the videos before them and selling that ads space as well for a lot of networks out there really. So please choose all that wisely. I do not recommend that Youtube earnings like some sort of stable income anyway cause it's totally unrelated to such activity assuming all what I said above;)
Ads, sponsorships, and Patreon.
People earn money from YouTube through Adsense, in the form of adverts before and in-between your videos. However before you can apply for this you must meet the requirements:
You will need 500 subscribers, and I think its 1,000 hours of people watching your content.
This is quite steep and it is relatively new but the reason they have done this is to raise the bar so not ever one can become a partner. If you found this helpful please subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

Who's creating content merit an almost hour-long visit to YouTube? Well, YouTube is not just for amateur filmmakers and folks videotaping their housepets any longer. Musicians, TV networks, tiny businesses, and also the freelance all notice cost in posting their own superb content on a YouTube channel.
An active, amusing YouTube channel -- that is liberated to build through a Google+ account (also free) -- strengthens these users' brands and extends their reach to new audiences. It can even build a base of subscribers that different firms exploitation YouTube can truly pay to advertise their product to.
Before launching a YouTube channel for the needs of constructing cash, you wish to choose what reasonably profit you are curious about. area unit you wanting to use YouTube as a promotional outlet for your own product and services? Or, does one wish your video content to get ad revenue right from YouTube?
There are 2 ways in which to earn cash on YouTube: as an advertiser ANd as an ad platform. As AN advertiser, you pay YouTube for Preroll, Bumpers, or TrueView ads that get your videos ahead of potential consumers. As an ad platform, you publish videos that are watched enough to host others' content as a paid affiliate or YouTube Partner.
1. Be an advertiser
As an advertiser on YouTube, you are populating your YouTube channel with video advertisements created by you. The distinction between YouTube ads and, say, TV commercials, is that you get to point out YouTube ads to a lot of specific and sometimes a lot of engaged audience segments. you will pay YouTube to host your ads on different, extremely watched YouTube channels that charm to an equivalent viewership you are targeting.
The channels on that you host your video ads will vary from huge brands all the thanks to individual users who've created videos that are a success along with your audience.
When advertising on YouTube, you ought to understand entering into that you are taking part in the long game. It may be shivery to pay others for prime video slots that do not guarantee you will be seen by your ideal emptor -- plus get click-throughs to your web site that you just will convert into semipermanent customers.
But studies show these ads do pay off for advertisers throughout their time on YouTube: people who see a TrueView ad (we'll justify what those ar in a very second) ar reportedly ten times a lot of seemingly to require the action prompted within the ad than the viewer would get on their own.
2. Be an Advertising Platform
If advertising is a marathon, the next 2 ways are a sprint … kind of. after you think about a way to create cash on YouTube, you are most likely thinking of the subsequent choices. during this case, you are the one getting paid to host others' advertisements -- the opposite side of the YouTube advertising relationship.
There are actually finite ways to earn money via YouTube. One way is the simple “Google Adsense” way. The only downside is that you are completely alone, with the exception of the pay-cut taken from Google (and I believe YouTube), as well as that Adsense does not help your channel grow and cause more foot-traffic, which accumulates the money.
Next is affiliation links/affiliations, this applies mostly to tech reviewers or reviewers of general products. Affiliation links are links to a specific product or products that accumulate a percentage of money over time, AFTER people use them. Once again

Then there is joining a network. This is coming from a small YouTuber wanting to join a network, networks take a percent of your earnings and in return you could get pretty neat stuff. (IE: free-to-use music, a cool dashboard, more fame, etc.). Personally I feel like becoming part of a network may be your best option, if you wish to be noticed.

NOTE: never, never try faking google and clicking on your own ads or uploading others video. Google can easily spot it and will permanently suspend your adsense with no second chance to create a new adsense acc.

Personal appearances is also another novel way to earn extra.
It sounds and looks easy to do for the first few episodes. But then you need to have a certain level of extra creativity to sustain such interest in your “shows”.
But I like it as I get to travel essentially from the earnings, get to know more people, weirdly a bit popular…was flattered when someone in a European airport hub recognised me much to the suprise of the people around me. Did not got a upgrade but the FAs were extra nice to me.
It is not for everyone. But it is worth the try.

If you're out of work because of a coronavirus shutdown and are looking for an opportunity, be warned that earning money on YouTube isn’t quick or easy. But with persistence and a well thought-out strategy, you can fatten your bank account. Here’s what you need to know
How to build an audience
© Provided by MoneyWise Jacob Lund / Shutterstock
Nothing you do matters if people aren’t watching. You won’t need a million subscribers to see returns, but a sufficiently large or sufficiently dedicated audience is key. Depending on whom you attract, some revenue streams will work out better than others.
When designing your channel, you need to find a niche that you enjoy and others will find valuable. You’ll get the best results if your content can be made quickly but is still worth following on a regular or even daily basis.
To get more hits, try using descriptive titles that include popular keywords. That will give people and search engines a clear idea of what your video is about. Adding tags will also help. For example, if your video is about baking, use specific words that relate to your video, such as chocolate chips.
Invite guest YouTubers on your channel — or appear on someone else’s — because you can get a huge boost either way. Other YouTubers have their own followers who will now know about you and the content you provide.
Lastly, pay for YouTube ads. It can get costly but will allow you to directly target prospective viewers. If you target the topic of “house pets,” your video will appear before all those people watching cat videos.
Once you have a growing audience, you can look into one or more of the following monetization methods. None of them is especially stable, so if you're hoping to make YouTube a career, you may want to seek the advice of a certified financial planner. The ones at Facet Wealth have plans specifically designed for millennials.

When most people think about monetizing YouTube, they imagine themselves creating good content and watching the ad dollars pour in. While that is a viable path, there's a bit more to it than that.
First you’ll need to sign up for a Google AdSense account, connect it to your channel and enable monetization. Once you have enough viewers watching and clicking on ads, a few pennies will start to trickle into your account.
Then you’ll want to join the YouTube Partner Program. You don’t need to join to use AdSense, but the program offers access to other income streams, like YouTube Premium’s subscription fees and Super Chat.
To apply for the YouTube Partner Program, you’ll need a minimum of 4,000 “valid public watch hours” in the last 12 months, more than 1,000 subscribers and a linked AdSense account.
How to maximize your advertising dollars
© Provided by MoneyWise pathdoc / Shutterstock
While it’s easy enough to get set up, the challenge is building a channel that pulls valuable ads while sustaining enough viewers to engage with those ads.
Not all ads pay the same amount. A lot of factors can affect the dollar value, including the topic of your videos. Before you begin creating, research the value of different AdSense niches and see whether your content aligns. Insurance and online education are among the most valuable.
AdSense also favors videos it considers “safe.” That means avoiding content that can be sexually suggestive, contains violence or profanity or drugs or covers controversial and sensitive subjects. Otherwise, Google can exclude you from revenue.
For example, a channel focusing on environmental politics might not make bank, but tips on how to live green (buying an electric vehicle, cutting down on waste or making your home energy efficient) might do better.
Since greater authority and popularity mean more ad revenue, this method for monetizing your YouTube channel is a longer-term play. However, you have other options for scoring returns sooner.
How to make money without ads
© Provided by MoneyWise ShutterStock
Whether they want to be more independent or are put off by the restrictive nature of what Google considers “safe,” YouTubers employ multiple ways to make money. Here are some popular alternatives to running ads:
SuperChat donations
This method is available to creators who are willing and able to perform live. While watching your stream, viewers can donate to pin a comment to the top of the chat window.
SuperChat works well with Q&A sessions, interviews and gaming — anything that gives your audience a chance to participate and hear back from you.
YouTube Premium
Viewers who pay to sign up for YouTube Premium get to watch videos ad-free, along with other perks.
That doesn’t mean content creators get cheated; instead of getting a cut of ad revenue, you’ll get a cut of the subscription fee from any premium users watching your videos.
Keep in mind, this is not a big income source.
Affiliate and influencer marketing
Even moderately popular YouTubers can make good money by talking up products. You might get paid purely for the act of promoting a product, or you might provide your viewers a link to an online store that will net you a commission from each sale.
The best salespeople will weave offers into their usual content in ways that feel natural and benefit their viewers. For example, someone who lost 50 pounds in three months could talk about the vitamin supplements they took during the process. A good product review or comparison could also lead to strong affiliate revenue.
The key here is not the size of your audience but an authentic relationship with viewers who trust your authority. Just remember to disclose that your video is #sponsored.
Selling merchandise
Working with affiliates might not be your thing, but don’t sweat it. You might have a penchant for selling your own products instead, whether that’s T-shirts, mugs, artwork or something else entirely.
Selling merchandise works for creators with a recognizable brand or at least a style their viewers will readily identify with. It’s an extra challenge on top of making content that will constantly drive new traffic to see your merchandise.
If you’re not crafty, you’re in luck. It’s a lot easier for individuals to do merchandising in the modern age. You can work together with freelancers on marketplace websites like Fiverr to design and produce products, then use services like Oberlo to handle shipping.
Crowdfunding
If your viewers find your content especially valuable, you can simply ask them for support. It’s a simple exchange, really: They get to enjoy the videos they love, and you get paid to make more.
That said, it’s easier to entice people to support you if you offer extra bonuses like private Q&A sessions or exclusive videos.
Some crowdfunding sites like Patreon ask people to set up a subscription that charges them every month or every time you post a video. Other sites, like Tipeee, offer one-time donations as well.

Apparently YouTube feels the same way, and the DO give you, the creator, the opportunity to monetize your videos. You don’t make a lot of course. You have to average many 1000’s of views per clip to even qualify. But many people have seized on this opportunity and started their own “channels” and have their own followers that watch everything they upload.

Here's two of their biggest ways:

- MCNs. Ever heard of a multi-channel network on YouTube? Some examples include Fullscreen and Freedom, who basically recruit channels and say they'll promote them, help them earn revenue etc. These companies, in order to comply with YouTube's TOS, have to give YouTube dividends for the revenue raised by advertisements on videos. Networks like Fullscreen split up the payments to 60:40 to the content creator (the creator getting 60) from what is left after Youtube takes its cut.

- Independents. When a channel is not connected to a network like Fullscreen - it is independent - but it is a YouTube Partner, then the channel can still earn revenue - in fact, it earns the full slice which MCNs would usually gain. Makes you wonder; why on earth would I join an MCN if they take 40% of my earnings? Well, it's not as simple as that - but if you can generate views, this is the best tactic easily. Anyway, these independent channels still earn money from adverts - and YouTube gets a slice of the profits too for supplying the ads.
- Agencies are a big part of YouTube - the actual people who the adverts come from. It's not as simple as every company comes to YouTube directly wanting to display ads - this is done through marketing firms and agencies on behalf of businesses; but then, powerhouse companies like Coca Cola will work on bigger-scale deals than simple ad deals; and they pay YouTube for the advertising space.
- YouTube Red.
YouTube Red will not be the subscription service which will make YouTube more profitable in a lot of regards - it will increase YouTube's own intake of earnings, but it won't get enough traction with viewers to actually justify spending $10 a month to watch a video without adverts and with some exclusive content. That exclusive content will end up leaked and you can just download AdBlock on Google Chrome. Of course, that's not what YouTube has considered - nor will consumers, but that is the realism surrounding it and that is why many people will not buy into YouTube Red. Needless to say the service will make YouTube more money.
They are many ways in which you can earn money on YouTube once you have built a good fan base some honorable mention are
- Adcense
- Affiliate product
- Crowd funding
- Merchendise
- Brand deals

There are only three ways to earn.
1 . After Youtube boycott, where advertisers started to leave Youtube platform because they are playing ads on bad quality and offensive videos. Youtube is now paying $1.94/5000 views (Before boycott - $1/1000 views) - Currently, that’s what I’m earning. Youtube is in bad standing and many Youtubers are leaving because of it, which is also cutting down the competition.

There are several different ways you can monetize your Youtube channel and even more ways you can make money on Youtube.

Youtube Partnership
Youtube partnership is the most common thing people think about when they’ll talking about making money on Youtube. But you have to apply for a Youtube partnership but meet certain requirements before you can be accepted.
In order to get accepted into the Youtube Partnership as an official Youtube (and receive that really cool plaque), you have to have a minimum of 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in 12 months' time. A good way of getting new subs is to use Facebook engagement groups.
However, most of these groups will have people doing sub4sub. Don’t use sub4sub, it hurts you way more than it helps. Sure, it helps you get the subs fast (although, there are a ton of people who sub, wait a few days, and then unsub) it’s going to tank your views.
Some of the first people Youtube sends your new videos to are those who are the most active with your profile. If you have a bunch of people subbing to your profile but not watching your videos, then you’re not going to get the views you need.
I can’t tell you how to get 1,000 subs, because I only have 19, but I can show you how I got my first 10 subscribers within 2 months:
One of the topics I talk about is growing on social media and that Includes Youtube.
Affiliate Marketing
This is another way you can make money on Youtube, even if you have a small channel.
There are several different ways to do affiliate marketing on Youtube. You can start a review channel, where you buy and review different products to help people make a buying decision. You can also show people how to use a product in order to achieve their goals.
Sponsorship
Sponsorships are another way to make money as a Youtuber. However, with this method, you have to have a minimum of 500 to 1,000 subscribers. I don’t know much about this method because I haven’t reached that yet, but from what I can understand is that Sponsors may ask you for your engagement analytics to make sure they will get their money worth. Meaning this is another reason not to use sub4sub.
Shoutouts
Like IG, you can get paid to give shoutouts to other Youtubers or businesses. This is something you may be able to get away with using sub4sub if someone sees you have a lot of subs. Unfortunately, it could backfire as well. So, don’t use sub4sub.
Depending on how big your channel is, you can make anywhere between $10-$200 for a shoutout. I’m sure some of the big-name channels can make way more, but that’s the range I know of right now.

Moms are always complaining about how their kids won't swallow food. But here's one person whose mother probably had no such problem. In fact, her struggles were probably the opposite – trying to make him stop!
Today, Shoenice22 is making use of his unique talent of being able to eat anything (literally) and in the process entertain people and become a YouTube celebrity. Oh, and he also wants to stop world hunger.
In the real world, "Shoenice22" is known as Chris Schewe. Schewe is aware that a lot of people think he's a complete idiot, but he isn't bothered by that. He's living in a time when he can really do whatever he wants, even stupid things, and become famous for them.
And famous, he is! Chris's channel is one of the most popular on YouTube. He has over ~550,000 subscribers!!! (Jan, 2016), and some of his videos get billion views and get more hits than a lot of those posted by real-life celebrities.
Some of his most iconic videos are the ones in which he eats a 1000 sheets of toilet paper in 10 minutes, and drinks a whole bottle of glue. Most of whatever he's eaten has been requested by his hundreds of thousands of followers. (This includes real food as well, like a 9” pizza in 9 seconds with no water to drink.)
2. The cute brothers who made over $100,000 from finger biting video
Charlie Bit My Finger is a 2007 Internet viral video famous for formerly being the most viewed YouTube video. As of February 2015, the video ranks as the Fourth most viewed video on the site, with over 810 million views and counting. The clip features two English brothers, aged three and one. In the video, the younger brother, Charlie, bites the finger of his older brother, Harry. The boys' father uploaded the video online in May 2007.
Howard Davies-Carr, the father of the boys, said the video was "simply an attempt to capture the boys growing up." It's the kind of off-guard clip any family would treasure privately. And in the past, that's precisely what it would have remained.
Except that Mr Davies-Carr's decision to upload the 57-second film onto YouTube not only propelled the children into the international spotlight, but also earned the family more than £100,000 (over $150,000).
(UPDATE 2016: This video has ~840 million views)
In addition to being one of the most viewed videos on YouTube, it was also the "most favorite" and the second "most discussed" video on the website in the United Kingdom.
3. EvanTubeHD - The 8-year-old who makes over $1 million a year playing with toys in front of a camera
Meet Evan, an adorable 8-year-old with the world's best job. He rakes in hundreds of thousands of dollars while doing what all kids do – playing with toys. He is the face of EvanTubeHD, a family-friendly YouTube channel that reviews toys and video games. Evan's videos regularly exceed a million views and the channel earns him a whopping $1.3 million a year.
This is one of those internet success stories that make you wonder, “Why didn't I think of that?” It started out as a playful project between Evan and his father Jared – they would make stop-motion videos using clay models of Angry Birds. The videos were so cute that they started to get really popular, and when their first video hit 1 million views, Jared realized how huge it was getting. It wasn't long before the channel became a serious business model.
4. The faceless YouTube star that makes $20 million dollar per year unwrapping Disney toys
It's likely that you have heard of DisneyCollectorBR. Yet no one knows who she is, despite her status as the third most-watched YouTube channel in the United States.
Children reportedly love watching the mystery woman (whose face isn't shown in her videos) introduce and open children's toys, many of them from recent Disney movies.
DisneyCollectorBR, which Social Blade rates as one of the top three YouTube channels, is estimated to earn between $1.4 and $21.9 million each year.
5. Bethany Mota - The 18 year old who is making millions just from posting her shopping videos on YouTube
Bethany Mota is only 18-years-old, but thanks to the wild popularity of her shopping videos, she's more well known online than Vogue magazine and has her own national branded line of clothing and jewelry.
The northern California teen is turning her hobby into a million dollar phenomenon before she's even moved out of her parents' house – and it's all thanks to YouTube.
"Hi. I'm Bethany. I'm a Youtuber," she writes on one of her many social media accounts. "My viewers are my besties and I love them bunches!" And those followers love her back – all five million of them.
6. KSI - The virtual David Beckham who makes money on YouTube playing FIFA
You may not have heard of Olajide Olatunji - better known by his alias, KSIOlajidebt, or KSI for short, but there's a good chance your children, nieces or nephews will be very familiar with him.
The 21-year-old is one of the UK's most popular digital media superstars, boasting more than 9,000,000 subscribers to his two YouTube channels (to put that into context, Tom Cruise has just 4,000), and a portfolio of brand endorsements to rival David Beckham.
His videos – bombastic, bawdy, and borderline – have been watched more than a billion times.
7. stampylonghead - The guy who quit his job to upload Minecraft videos on YouTube
Now this is what you call a modern-day fairy tale. The internet can do wonderful things for you, if you can wield the magic of making content go viral.
Meet university graduate Joseph Garrett, who has earned a small fortune by simply filming himself playing video games and uploading the clips on YouTube. His clips have become an internet sensation and Joseph is well on his way to becoming a millionaire.
Joseph's YouTube channel "Stampylonghead," has received more hits than the channels of One Direction and Justin Bieber. It is one of the top 10 most viewed in the world, raking in a whopping 10,000 subscribers and 170 million views a month.
Joseph has a degree in TV and video production, and used to work as a barman. He quit his job in 2013 to play games like Minecraft and share tips with fellow players full time.
And you know what? If you have an idea of video, just go ahead!

Channel makers work really really hard.
Youtube earning is roughly 1 dollar for every 1000 views. If you want to make 200 dollars a month, you are getting 200,000 views … that is tremendous amount of work, about 3–5 videos a month with 50K views each.
And you need to give up your job and do this full time, continuously. People don’t follow you if you are not great and consistent.
You never see the zero view videos - youtube never show them to you. There are many like that.
To start earning money on YouTube you first have to have good content and continue to be consistent with your content. You probably will be making videos for a couple months before you gain a following and start to get a great amount of views on your videos. That is when the money starts to come in slowly and you might start to get sponsorships etc. The more views you get per video per month will determine how much money you make.
Good luck making money on YouTube. Also you shouldn't start doing YouTube just for the money. If you do, you wont make any.
Hope this helps!

How do you make money from YouTube?
There are a few takeaways from Forbes’ list, putting aside the millions of dollars made and subscribers gained. First, YouTube channels can be monetized even if they don’t have millions of subscribers. Your earning potential isn’t determined solely by the number of subscribers and views you have, but also by the level of engagement you generate, the niche you cater to, and the revenue channels you explore. That’s not to say subscriber count doesn’t matter.
Second, this list of top 10 earners might give you the impression that the millions of dollars made comes directly from YouTube. In fact, each of these channels has its own line of merchandise. These channels found and built their audiences first, before launching their own merchandise. If making money on YouTube is in your marketing plan, the first step is the same for everybody: have a clear understanding of your target audience.
Who’s going to watch your YouTube channel?
Building your own audience puts you in a great position monatize content in a variety of ways. But you’ll only be able to take full advantage of the opportunities you have if you understand the makeup of your audience. For many YouTubers looking to monetize, the more niche your channel, the better position you’ll be in to work with brands looking to target specific audiences.
You'll want to pay close attention to:
The gender of your audience, to see if its skews toward one particular group.
The age range most of your audience falls into.
The geographic location—countries or cities—where your videos are being watched.
Your audience’s overall engagement, or “watch time.”
With this demographic information at hand, you’ll have a better understanding of your own audience and be able to work better with brands. All demographic insight can be pulled from your youtube analytics but to compare your own channel against others try a tool like social blade.
With that out of the way, we can start talking about the different ways your YouTube channel can make money.
