There are a few ways to do this on WooCommerce. One way is to create a custom post type called "Product Categories" and add a list of products to it. Then, add a list of products to the category using the "add product" button. Finally, add a list of products to the subcategory using the "add subcategory" button.

Yes and no. This is because shopping carts usually rely on Cookies.

Cookies are bound to a domain, so other websites cannot read/edit them.

Some eCommerce platforms, like WooCommerce, save carts to the database if a known user is logged in - so it might be possible if the WooCommerce website provides access (via an API) to edit the Database Save cart for a known user.

It's a software bug. I fixed it.

We thought about adding a "pos" field, but it's unclear how should this work when a product is put into multiple categories or when a customer chooses an option in the "order by" drop-down menu. The problem is that Drupal caches the entire page including information on the cart. We have a little controll over the Drupal cache from the LiteCommerce code, so this option has to be disabled until we find a solution (still haven't yet). Actially we send a notice to Drupal to not cache these blocks, but it seems that it ignores them for some reasons.
