Product Description

Grow bigger and more beautiful plants with Miracle-Gro® Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food (vs unfed plants). This gardening product feeds plants instantly. In addition, it's safe for all plants and won't burn plants when used as directed. Use with all types of indoor or outdoor plants, including flowers, vegetables, houseplants, roses, trees, and shrubs. This plant food may be used with container plants or in-ground gardens. To apply to indoor plants, use the small end of the included scoop (1/2 tsp) and mix plant food with 1 gallon of water in a watering can. Reapply every 2 weeks. For outdoor plants, use the large end of the included scoop (1 1/2 tbsp) and mix with 1 1/2 gallons of water in a watering can. Reapply every 7 to 14 days. When using in large garden areas, fill a Miracle-Gro® Garden Feeder (sold separately) and follow feeder directions. For best results, just soak the soil at the base of each plant to fertilize the roots. One 5 lb. container of Miracle-Gro® Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food feeds approximately 2,000 sq. ft. of garden area.

I don't know how anyone grows flowers and plants without this stuff! It really is a miracle!
If you haven't used this plant food before, BUY IT NOW! Seriously!
The ads are true, it definitely grows, larger, fuller, healthier plants. It's a wonderful product for anyone trying to grow anything at all!
I use this on all my potted and planted flowers and trees and it's wonderful.
It's great with roses, succulents, vines like bougainvillea, everything!

Let me give you a real life example here... I moved into this house with very neglected landscaping, so I immediately went out and bought about a dozen small white floribunda roses to line to front of the property. These were small 2 gallon nursery roses, so pretty much not even chi height when planted. There was also a sorely neglected bougainvillea planted near a back fence which was literally just a 2 foot tall stalk, no growth, no leaves, nothing! I watered these plants about once or twice a week, and feed them weekly, for the most part! Within a single year, the roses were 5 feet tall, the bougainvillea had grown to 8 feet and had spread about 12 feet across the back fence and was winding up over the top of it and creating a stunning display.
Now, that may seem like a long time for a plant to grow, but considering the size of these plants at this point, it is impressive! These plants look like 5-10 year old plants in the span of a year. Basically one full gardening season!

I will never not use this and can not imagine going without it now.
This specific package is also more than enough to last you a year or two depending on how many plants you have and how often you feed. It's a wonderful, large amount for a very reasonable price, and the seal is tight so the food does not harden with moisture over time. It's perfect. Easy to use, easy to store, it should be in every home gardener's arsenal for sure!

I live in the city. I have city dirt in my yard. The soil is not black like it should be. It is more of a tan. It has things in it: old rusty hinges, shards of glass, plastic straws. I remove them as they turn up. I have plants in this dirt. I have vegetable plants and I have flowering plants. Every spring I plan to buy loam or peat moss or good topsoil and spread it around to make better dirt. Then I think about hauling the heavy bags of loam or peat moss on an unwieldy store cart, loading the car, etc. And I buy nothing of the sort. Instead, every spring, I buy a box of Miracle Gro. I don't need a cart to hold it. The box is small and light. It generally does not have a hole in it like maybe that bag of manure that empties all over your back seat on the ride home. My father-in-law gave us some seedlings at the beginning of spring. We used Miracle-Gro when we transplanted the plants into our herb garden. About 2 months later, we celebrated Memorial Day at our place with a backyard BBQ. Adjacent to the BBQ pit, the herb garden can be seen. My dad-in-law and I were enjoying a beer hashing over what's new while I was flipping burgers. Dad glanced over to the herb garden and come near of dropping his beer. His mouth flew open and said, "Is that the seedlings I gave you?" I replied, "Yeap, sho nuf!" He could not believe how much the plants had grown. He begged me for my secret. I gave him one of the boxes of Miracle-Gro that I bought from Amazon (best price BTW). Since then, the herb garden had to be trimmed at least once a week and has quadruple in size after the first trim.

My wife says that I depend on Miracle-Gro too much, but when I look out at the garden and the rest of the landscape, I think I use just enough of the right amount. I have been an avid Miracle-Gro user since the hit the market years and years ago. It is a good product. BTW, my wife loves the wisterias. We bought it when it was just a tiny seedling and now it has claimed its own section of the west side of the house.
