What is the difference between sociology and anthropology?

i wrote an essay on sociology n later i found out that my education system doesnt offer sociology...so now i have to turn my essay into social anthropology...is that possible??...are both of them the same?? or almost the same?

What is the difference between sociology, anthropology and archeology? What type of careers do these degrees lead to? Do people usually have to get a phd or masters if they pursue these fields?
