R4 is stuck at loading?

I just bought an r4 card, Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS) and I can't seem to find a clone with that name, however even after updating the firmware, I still get stuck on the loading screen once I put it in my DS Lite. Help Pleaseee!!!

I just upgraded to the new version of the R4 card which is 1.18 and now i cant get further then the loading screen. i have tried just about everything. help would be greatly appreciated.

It used to say something about the DS_MENU.DAT and now i fixed that and it is just stuck at Loading... I'm trying to set the r4 card up for a friend and I had the same problem with mine i dont know how i fixed it though. Please Help!!!?
