How to turn on Google Instant?

I already know how to adjust the settings in https://www.google.com/preferenc.... It's just that it keeps on reverting the settings - which it didn't do in any previous version of Chrome... Even when I'm logged onto my Gmail account, it doesn't revert...

It's like a f***ing virus. I can not turn it off. I have turned it off many times before (because it keeps coming on) but this time I can't find it. I can't stand google instant and if I can't turn it off I will never use the stupid website ever again...

I use the HOME screen to browse my library, now these Instant Mixes started popping up and cluttering up the space and I don't use or like them. Any way to turn them off or remove them - without removing the songs, of course.

Every time I turn it off, it stays off until I delete my cache and cookies. When I log in again, it turns itself on again! Is there a way Google Instant can be turned off when I delete cookies/cache?
