How to make youtube channel transparent?

I'm trying to make a new youtube channel but am very confused as to how. I know Google + & Youtube are connected but whenever i press create account on YouTube it takes me to make an account on Google Plus... I have done but then when i go back onto...

Ok so the new youtube has you make a google account when u try to make a channel. So it says you can make a channel later but how do you do that? Im so confused it wont let me do anything like make a channel name or anything

like i wanna type in a website like for example "charliesvideos.com" and when you type that in and press enter it goes to your youtube channel you get it rite? i seen some channels like that like yu type in the website and goes to your youtube...
