How do you delete saved attachments?

Emails with pictures are saved in attachments .I don't want them saved how do I delete them out of Yahoo attachments

My computer is a used computer,that was used in a school system. Could system be set up to save all attachments, even though I think I delete message with attachments and photos?

These attachments go to 'My Attachments' in my Yahoo Mail. I would like to open attachments without them being saved.
