How do u edit the box on facebook?

On Facebook when u view ur page, or ur wall on the left side there is a little box that says write something about your self..Usually it lets u edit that box by just clicking on it or on the the little pencil, but for some reason i cant. does anyone...

in that little box under the default pic on facebook it used to have a little pen to edit it.. this way you can change what you write.. the pen is gone now.. is there any other way to change/edit what it says in that box?

i recently added some text to the "write about yourself" box, below your profile picture, and now i cant edit it. HOW do i edit this?

I can't click the edit tab on my box at the side of my profile, the tab isn't there..is anyone having the same problem or know why it won't let me edit it?

Okay, Something has changed in Facebook and for the life of me...I cannot figure it out!!! I can no longer find the option to make a photo the "album cover" it just automatically picks one for me and it's not the one I want! I see the option...
